Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov today called on the European Union countries to give up talking with Russia from a position of superiority and turn to an equal dialogue.

"Relations between Russia and the European Union can be based only on equality and mutual respect for interests," Sputnik quoted Lavrov as saying in a conversation with the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, adding, "Some countries that set the method in the European Union need to abandon attempts to conduct business from the point of view.
