The Algerian authorities announced the death of nine people infected with the Coronavirus and the registration of 185 new infections in the country during the past twenty-four hours.
The Algerian news agency WAG quoted Jamal Furar, the official spokesperson for the virus monitoring and follow-up committee, as saying: “The number of deaths from the virus increased to 7281 cases, while the total number of infections increased to 48,535, which represents 0.4 cases per 100,000 of the population, indicating that 111 patients have recovered, which raises The number of people recovering from the virus to 37,603 people.
He explained that 21 states have recorded less than 9 cases, while no case has been registered in 21 states, while more than 10 cases have been recorded in 6 states during the past 24 hours, in addition to the presence of 35 people in intensive care.
