The police outburst at a wedding in Givat Zeev, in which dozens of people attended tonight (Wednesday), also caused an uproar

Corona commissioner Prof. Roni Gamzo responded to the police, claiming that it was a "complex and difficult task in order to maintain guidelines and public health."

He said, "It is not possible to hold events such as a wedding in a mass gathering without endangering the public. One must exercise restraint but determination in order to prevent infection and morbidity."



Shas chairman and Interior Minister Aryeh Deri expressed shock at the incident and addressed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the issue.

"There is no reason in the world for police to break into the house with rifles and injure people. I talked to the prime minister about the difficult incident at the wedding in Givat Zeev. I told him it was a very serious incident and demanded a thorough investigation by an outside source.
