The members of the

Republican Professors Association

issued a tough open letter on Wednesday to

warn of the land seizures

that are taking place in different areas of the country and demand that the "Government come out of its complicit lethargy and apply the law" to resolve this problem.

"It is

extremely urgent that the Government come out of its complicit lethargy

and apply the law and exercise authority, acting with the full use of public force in the face of interference and disturbances, as it is the one who holds the monopoly of the same in a State of right ", they raised.

The law professors remarked that

"in this way it will be avoided to return to a pre-state society

in which force seeks to impose itself on the fundamental rights enshrined in the National Constitution to set men free."

They made their position public, shortly after learning that the national government is analyzing the possibility of allowing the members of the Mapuche community to stay on the properties they took from the State in exchange for stopping the attacks and other violent acts against the inhabitants of the Villa Mascardi area.

This was revealed by sources consulted by

.

As they explained last week, the idea of the national administration team participating in the negotiations is that the Lafken Winkul Mapu community conserve part of the territory that they began to occupy in November 2017 and that they have been expanding in the last three years until reaching at 30 hectares.

The space that could remain in their power would be the six fiscal hectares where they were installed at the beginning and that are under the administration of Nahuel Huapi National Parks.

In return, the Mapuche militants would commit to permanently suspend any type of attack or violent activity against the residents of the town or on Route 40.

But that is not the only witness case because in the province of Buenos Aires, the government of Axel Kicillof recently requested that the judicial eviction order be suspended to release the massive takeover in Guernica, President Perón's party.

"The Republican Professors make clear to all citizens our concern about the usurpation of lands, in different regions of the country, by organized groups. This violates the rule of law, a principle by virtue of which people and institutions must be subject to the law, "said the law teachers about the situation.

They added that "

the right to property is a natural

and imprescriptible right equivalent to the rights to freedom, security and resistance to oppression" and stressed that "property is the concrete expression of freedom; it is the essential pillar for to sustain a prosperous and active society and the incentive to start ventures and improve the quality of life ".

"We see with surprise that, in the face of the usurpations and plundering that are taking place, the State is absent. We also see that there are clear disagreements between federal and provincial forces that aggravate the situation and leave the 'path' freed for action of organized groups, of acting violent and that carry out spurious business of reselling federal and private lands. The complacent gaze of mayors and patronage governors thus facilitate occupations with clear political ends, "they added.

Followed, they warned that

"even more damaging is the repeated indifference shown by the Executive Power

regarding the violation of constitutional precepts and international declarations, treaties and covenants to which Argentina has adhered in matters of defense of the right to property."

"By virtue of the foregoing: We

express our total repudiation of the usurpations and expropriations

of land of the State itself - national, provincial or municipal - and of individuals, since the crime provided for by art. 181 is typified in these behaviors of the Penal Code, which must be applied without further formality; We understand that it is a non-delegable task of the State to guard and preserve public property, the right to private property and the right to security; We are convinced that the Argentine housing crisis is due to policies errant and populist and demagogic decisions that never had the objective of providing decent, safe and adequate housing to the Argentine family, "they stressed.
