The Congress of Mexico is working on a legal reform so that those who attack medical personnel are punished with up to 10 years in prison.

Collectives of health workers celebrate this initiative, since since the pandemic began they have seen an increase in physical and verbal attacks against doctors and nurses, something that the authorities recognize.
