In a statement, the NFL said Wednesday that it will still allow fans to vote in November for their favorite players, and will announce teams with their chosen players a month later.
In addition, the league said it will work with the NFL Players Union and other partner partners "to create a variety of engaging activities to replace this season's Pro Bowl."
The NFL will not have an All-Star game for the first time since the 1949 season.
