Days after the fires were extinguished, which affected fruitful and forested trees in the town of Zueitina in the Wadi Al-Nadara region in the western countryside of Homs, the town's farmers began to harvest olives from fields that were not covered by fire, adhering to their determination and love for their land that they planted and pledged to protect it from the Sunnah.

Sana toured some fields in the town of Zweitina and met a number of farmers, where Abu Michel stated that today he began harvesting olives from his field, which the fire approached from the outskirts, but with the efforts of the firefighting crews and the people of the town, it was extinguished before entering his field, and he participated in the suppression operation with the townspeople and the firefighters hand in hand However, pointing out that despite the loss the region suffered from forest and fruit trees, we will work again to return vegetables to it.

Bassam Matanius explained that he has two fields, one of which has been devoured by fire fires and will replant it again and the other is now collecting its fruits from olives that characterize his town, while Hanna Makhoul considered that the main reason that limited the spread of the fire was the solidarity between the people of the region and the firefighters who answered the call immediately and for two days. In a row, since the fire was extinguished on the first day and renewed on the second day, and he will not forget the effort made by the firefighters and the solidarity between the people of the region in extinguishing the fire.

Anwar Sankari, the mayor of Zueitina, stated that despite the loss suffered by the townspeople and amounting to 35 dunums of various trees, they took the initiative to cultivate their lands and reap the fruits of fields that were not covered by fire.

Al-Sankari indicated that, through cooperation between the local community, the Western Al-Ain Road is currently being rehabilitated and paved to be ready for use in extinguishing any fire in that area, in addition to the municipality currently opening and rehabilitating the Al-Horsh road to be a line that speeds up the arrival of firefighting mechanisms in the event of any fire.
