Day care centers and kindergartens warn: there may be severe disruptions in the opening of educational institutions
The Histadrut of Supervised Teachers and Day Care Centers has warned that despite the Corona Cabinet decision, early childhood education institutions will not open on Sunday.
This is due to a lack of preparation and the provision of solutions for the gardens.
"The government waited as usual for the last minute, parents will be unnecessarily saddened"

The Corona Cabinet today (Thursday) approved the opening of kindergartens and day care centers from this coming Sunday, but the education system warns that they will not be able to return to activity.
"The government has not been able to learn the lessons from the previous closure and it is once again in a hurry to open the education system without adapting the kindergartens to the new situation and while ignoring the kindergarteners and the positions of the Ministry of Health," the teachers' union said.
"Reopening because of public pressure, quickly and without proper preparation."
The teachers' union warned that "due to lack of preparation and solutions, there may be serious disruptions in the opening of the kindergartens," adding: "The state should decide what the conditions are for opening the kindergartens, how to open and only then decide to open - and not the other way around."

The organizations that operate the supervised day care centers have also warned that they will not be able to return to activity on Sunday.
"The supervised dormitories will not be able to open before Monday, and in some cases even on Tuesday. The process of returning the dormitory to activity is complex and takes several days, and although we warned about this so that parents would not be unnecessarily sad - the government waited as usual for the last minute.
They added that "we will work around the clock to bring back facts from the hospital, find a solution for those at risk, take care of cleaning and disinfecting the dormitories and take care of everything necessary to ensure a quick and safe opening.
This, while fully adhering to all guidelines.
We will return to full activity during the week. "
