Washington-SANA

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo confirmed that the Turkish regime's intervention in the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan over Karabakh increased the danger in the Caucasus region.

Pompeo said in an interview with US broadcaster WSB Atlanta today that "the Turks intervened and provided Azerbaijan with resources, which increases the danger and intensifies the fighting in this conflict," adding that "the solution to this conflict should be through peaceful negotiations, not through combat." And certainly not through the entry of a third party to provide his firepower to a place that is really a powder keg.

Early this month, Pompeo warned the Turkish regime that sending Syrian terrorists to the conflict zone between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Karabakh would lead to "more instability."

It is noteworthy that the United States of America is counting with the Turkish regime at the head of the countries that have supported and continue to support terrorists in Syria, and that its forces are occupying parts of Syrian territory with the forces of this regime with the aim of stealing its oil and resources in flagrant and continuous violation of the United Nations Charter and the provisions of international law.
