US President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden are holding two parallel events tonight (Friday) that replace the confrontation planned between them ahead of the election.

"Trump has missed huge opportunities in the fight against Corona," Biden attacked, live from the Philadelphia National Constitution Center.

At an event held at the Perez Museum in Miami, Trump said he does not remember being tested for Corona before the first confrontation.

"Trump missed huge opportunities and kept saying things that were not true," Biden argued, mentioning the fact that the Trump administration has announced that the virus will disappear by Easter or end with the heat of summer.

"He did not talk about what should be done because he cared, in my view, for the stock market," he continued.

The incumbent president claimed that people wearing masks "get infected all the time", adding that he does not remember if he was tested before the previous confrontation.

"I do not know, I do not even remember. I am checked all the time. After the confrontation, I think it was the day after, I was diagnosed as positive. This is the first time I found out about it," he said.

When asked again if he had been examined in accordance with the rules of the Presidential Conflict Committee, he replied "probably because I was examined the day before," but the next time he was asked he repeated, "Maybe yes, maybe no."

After failing to do so in the first confrontation, the president condemned the "white supremacy" groups.

He said, "I have condemned white supremacy. I have done so over the years but you always ask that question, you do not ask Joe Biden whether he condemns Antifa or not."

He added that he "also condemns Antifa and condemns the people on the left who are burning our cities, who are led by Democrats."

However, he refused to condemn the Kiwanon conspiracy theory.

During the events, which are broadcast live, the two candidates answer questions that will be addressed to them from the audience.

The second confrontation was planned to take place virtually following Trump's seizure of Corona, but was eventually canceled following the president's refusal.

The third and final confrontation is scheduled for Oct. 22 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Less than three weeks before Election Day on November 3, the Republican president is looking for ways to change the dynamics of the race, in which Baiden has a double-digit advantage in most polls, while voters continue to vote in large numbers.

According to the University of Florida, more than 17 million Americans, who make up 12.5 percent of the total votes cast in the 2016 general election, have so far voted through the postal service.

The Trump campaign is hoping for a rise in last-minute votes, but polls conducted between October 9 and 13 show that there are significantly fewer undecided voters this year - around 8% - and they tend not at all towards one of the candidates.

Four years ago, at this point in the campaign - more than twice as many people were similarly debating between Trump and his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton.

The two candidates visited the same states during the week, when Trump held mass rallies in Florida, Pennsylvania and Iowa, while Biden traveled to Ohio and Florida.

Opinion polls have shown that Trump has entered into statistical equality with Biden in Florida, a major battlefield - with 47% support compared to Biden's 49%.

According to a New York Times poll from earlier this week, 48% of all voters in Michigan support Biden, compared to 40% who want to see Trump continue for a second term.

In a previous poll, conducted in June among registered voters, the gap was 11% in favor of Biden.

In Wisconsin, Biden's gap is larger with a 10% advantage over Trump among those expected to vote.

The majority - 51% - prefer the 77-year-old former vice-president to the 74-year-old incumbent president.

In a previous survey from last month, the gap in favor of Biden was 5%, 48% versus 43%.
