France recorded a new high number of new infections with the Coronavirus, amounting to more than 25,000 cases during the past 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the French Ministry of Health as saying in a statement that 25,089 new cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total number of cases to 8,34770 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
The ministry pointed out that the number of deaths due to the virus rose by 122 cases to 33,303 cases.
Yesterday, French Health Minister Olivier Ferrand announced a state of maximum alert in 4 major cities due to the outbreak of Corona, while French President Emmanuel Macron said earlier that his country's authorities would impose new restrictions to contain the outbreak of the virus.
