"Fire in a truck shed in Mittbach" was the alarm on Saturday afternoon for a good dozen fire departments from the districts of Erding and Ebersberg.
Mittbach - Around 1.30 p.m. the emergency call was received by the control center in Erding.
Since a devastating fire in the workshop and people in danger had to be expected, more than 100 emergency services moved into the Isen district, as well as the police and the rescue service.
On site, the emergency services encountered a smoldering fire with heavy smoke development.
Spreading could be prevented, the danger was averted after a few minutes, the first weirs were able to re-engage.
A technical defect or a cable fire is suspected to be the cause.
The police have taken over the investigation.
Nobody was injured in the fire.
