Today, Belgian Foreign Minister Sophie Wilms announced that the medical tests that she underwent have tested positive for the emerging coronavirus.
Reuters quoted Wilms as saying in a tweet: "My Corona test result is positive ... it is possible that the infection came from within my family circle in light of the precautions taken outside my home."
Last Friday, Wilms announced that she would go into self-isolation with the appearance of symptoms suspected of being of the emerging corona virus.
Yesterday, the Belgian government issued a decision to close all cafes and restaurants for a period of four weeks to combat the Corona virus, following the recent increase in the number of HIV infections in the country, which prompted the authorities to tighten the closure rules.
