On the way to resolving the coalition crisis?
The Minister of Finance, Israel Katz, announced tonight (Saturday) that he intends to bring the 2020 budget to the cabinet meeting next week, as well as the laws of arrangements to promote reforms and growth in the economy.
This is a move that could lead to a compromise with Blue and White on the budget issue, which threatens to dissolve the government if the dispute is not resolved.
As you may recall, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Bnei Gantz is demanding an immediate budget transfer.
Tonight, Ganz sent a message to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the "Meet the Press" program on News 12, saying that he was "examining alternatives" for holding elections if the government disintegrates.
He added that he was talking to "Knesset officials" on the subject.
Minister of Finance Israel Katz: "I intend to bring to the cabinet meeting next week the approval of the budget for 20 and the laws of arrangements to promote reforms and growth in the economy.
