In the midst of the growing exchange rate tension, where the blue dollar reached its record of 178 pesos, the leader of the Civic Coalition (CC) Elisa Carrió warned this Saturday that

"the problem is not the dollar, the problem is us."

Carrió put it this way through a video that he posted on his Twitter account, in which he presented his text called "The Reinvention of Republican Argentina."

As he explained, this document refers to the "unity of all Argentines", contemplates "the eight contracts, the fiscal, the tax" and raises "how to recover the value of the peso because the problem is not the dollar, the problem is us ".

"For the unity of the Argentines and for the reinvention of the Republic. Hopefully it can be read, sometime, by a politician from both the government and the opposition," he remarked.

The former national deputy and one of the key references in the construction of the opposition coalition Cambiemos reappeared with the video in which she is seen at her home in Capilla del Señor.

Shortly before spreading that message, Carrió wrote on his social networks: "

The problem is not the dollar, it is the peso."

The leader of the CC referred to the crisis around the dollar that forced the national government to strengthen the stocks and that underpinned the value of the foreign exchange obtained in the parallel market and that of Blue, which is obtained in the informal market .

On the eve, the Blue reached its maximum of 178 pesos per unit.

Although the Minister of Economy Martín Guzmán admitted that the expectations generated by the gap between that price and that of the wholesale dollar, higher than 129%, are concerned, he also clarified that there will not be a devaluation.
