When the police arrived on site, one of the two attackers was arrested on site.

The arrested are a 21-year-old and a 35-year-old.
Both were armed with a butcher's knife or cleaver at the time of the attack.
According to the police, both were "heavily intoxicated".

In addition, the Landshut public prosecutor applied for an arrest warrant on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and issued it by the responsible magistrate.

The police have asked people who witnessed the incident to report to the criminal investigation department.
