Today, the General Film Organization presented the first screenings of the open air cinema event in the city of Homs in the park opposite Al-Kindi cinema through the feature film Damascus Aleppo starring the great artist Duraid Lahham and directed by Basil Al-Khatib
The show, attended by a sizeable audience that gathered in front of the projection screen of all ages, said about it, Basem Al-Baker, Assistant Director of the Cinema Foundation, in a statement to SANA's correspondence. .
He indicated that the opening film today, Damascus, Aleppo, will continue tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow, the film Al-Asheq and Mawdid will be shown at seven in the same place.
Among the attendees, Sumer Assaf and his wife Salam Al-Youssef mentioned that open air cinema is an enjoyable experience, especially since the weather today was suitable for such shows, pointing out that the Damascus Aleppo movie carried the pulse of the Syrian street and reflected a part of what Syria has lived through the past years.
It is noteworthy that the demonstration, which was held by the General Film Organization in the Central Region, was launched in the Salamiyah areas of Hama and Ayoun Al-Wadi in Homs.
