Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities' preventing Palestinian worshipers from entering the Old City in occupied Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is a flagrant violation of international law, international legality and its decisions.
In a statement carried by Wafa news agency today, the Foreign Ministry stated that the occupation prevented Palestinians from reaching the Old City and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque to pray for the fourth consecutive week, as part of its continuous war against the Palestinian presence in occupied Jerusalem and a racist translation of its colonial expansion plans in the land of the State of Palestine.
The Foreign Ministry called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and provide international protection for the Palestinian people, their land and their sanctities, because its inaction encourages the occupation authorities to persist in implementing their illegal and illegal plans, especially their direct targeting of holy sites, foremost of which is the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
