Corona outbreak in Europe: Italian Ministry of Health announced that Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte is expected to announce in the coming hours a series of restrictions following the rising number of corona viruses in the country.
The Italian Ministry of Health added that the number of infections in the past day was more than 10,000 people and that a similar number of infections were recorded on Friday.
According to the ministry, most of the infection with the virus occurs in the central and southern districts, away from the areas that were severely affected by the virus in the previous outbreak in the country.
Italy was the first country in Europe to deal with a significant outbreak of the corona virus and more than 35,000 people died in the first outbreak during the months of March, April and May.
In Britain, too, records of diagnoses were broken today and 16,171 were diagnosed with the virus in the past day.
The death toll in the past day stands at 150 people.
The government has declared extensive areas in the north of England, southern Scotland, Northern Ireland and the East of England as red areas and exceptional restrictions have been imposed on these areas, where it has closed.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson spoke earlier with Manchester City Mayor Andy Bornham and warned him that the London government would intervene in the city if it was not accepted regarding the implementation of the Corona's restrictions in his city.
Bornham, for his part, accused Johnson of "sacrificing the north of England as an immigrant".
