Hundreds of people arrived this evening (Saturday) in Paris Square, near the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem, to take part in a demonstration against Benjamin Netanyahu.
Police issued a large area demonstration in order to allow the demonstrators to maintain social distance.
According to the organizers of the demonstration, tens of thousands are expected to participate in the protest in Jerusalem.
This is the first Saturday after removing the restriction of demonstrations to a distance of up to km from home and in capsules of 20 participants.
The "Prime Minister" movement, one of the organizers of the demonstration, stated that the demonstration would take place with extreme care for social distance and masks.
The movement said in reference to the prime minister: "Tonight we return to Balfour.
We'll be there every Saturday night until you go. '
A convoy of vehicles will leave Latrun for Jerusalem in the evening ahead of the demonstration, and at 8:00 PM the "Rescue Democracy" march is scheduled to depart from the intersection of Ben Zvi Boulevard and Bezalel Street in Jerusalem to Paris Square.
The Prime Minister said in preparation for the demonstration: "Tonight we return to Balfour after a political closure imposed on the state by a criminal accused, in a cynical and transparent attempt to suppress the protest, on the backs of the collapsing citizens.
An inconceivable failure of a corrupt, failed and extortionate prime minister, who instead of running a country in crisis is preoccupied with trampling on democracy, incitement and division.
A large public on the left and right tells you and your soldiers, who are behaving like in a criminal organization, so far.
You cannot destroy the country and divide the people.
We are determined and the incitement and violence will not deter us. '
Following the incidents of violence against demonstrators across the country in recent weeks and the attack on one of the activists of the "Prime Minister" in Holon, the movement reiterates its demand from the police to increase its presence tonight in Balfour and demonstration centers around the country: "The writing on the wall.
Lots of incitement by the defendant is thirsty for the blood of the protesters and the police are not functioning.
If God forbid blood is shed, you are responsible. '
At the same time, more demonstrations are expected to take place in various places around the country.
In preparation for tonight's demonstrations in the youth organizations "Komi Israel", "The Insults", "The Pink Front" and "We Woke Up", they clarified that "in these difficult days, when all the people of Israel feel the failure of managing this crisis, days when we all fight to keep our heads above On the surface, politicians keep lying and arguing with each other.
The severe cases of violence against protesters are a direct product of the divisive discourse of hatred that comes from above.
As they drag us into the abyss of despair, we will wave pink flags of hope for a better future for Israeli society. "
