The full closure on Töl 7 will remain in place until the end of October.

After that, further disabilities threaten north of Bad Tölz.

Bad Tölz

- The work for the renewal of the district road Töl 7 on the Isar reservoir north of Bad Tölz is delayed again.

The full closure must be extended until the end of October, says Stefan Vogt from the Weilheim State Building Authority on request.

The county road in the direction of Königsdorf has been completely closed since the end of July.

As reported, the street has sagged a good bit and needs to be renovated.

At first it was said that the extensive work would take until September.

Then there was talk of mid-October.

The reasons were heavy rainfall and the unexpectedly poor building site.

According to Vogt, the road should definitely be drivable again from October 31st.

However, the road remains closed on one side.

"So there can still be disabilities", regrets Vogt.

The half-sided lock remains in place as long as the weather permits.

“We have a full to-do list,” says Vogt.

So far, the subsurface has been replaced over a length of around 200 meters to six meters below road level.

In addition, new drainage lines were laid and the slope to the Isar reservoir was secured with a 50 meter long retaining wall.

Now, according to Vogt, there is still a lot of additional work to be done: “The edges of the pavement must be made and the high curbs set,” says Vogt with two examples.

Next full closure in the summer holidays 2021

And the next full closure is already planned, namely in the summer holidays of 2021. "Then the actual asphalt work will be on," says Vogt.

As reported, a special thin-layer covering is to be used as the top layer.

It should have very favorable properties in terms of noise emissions.

The preparatory work should begin shortly after the winter break.

Despite the unexpected extra work and the resulting delays, costs of around 2.5 million euros remain.

“So far there have been no nasty surprises,” says Herda.

The district bears the costs as the client.

During the full closure until the end of October, traffic will continue to be rerouted over a large area via the federal highways B 472 and B 11.

The office asks all drivers and residents to understand the work this year and next year.
