New details were revealed tonight (Saturday) in the case of the horrific terrorist attack against a teacher at a high school in France, after presenting students with illustrations of the Prophet of Islam Muhammad during a lesson on freedom of speech.
The details were revealed by the Special Prosecutor for Terrorism in France, Jean-François Ricard, who announced that the terrorist, who was shot dead by police forces after the attack, was an immigrant of Chechen origin who was born in Moscow and immigrated to France as a child.
The terrorist is 18 years old and does not appear to have been a student at the school where the teacher taught.
According to the new details revealed, the terrorist asked students he met on the street to lead him to the teacher and after killing him with stab wounds and beheading him, the terrorist photographed the body and posted the photo on the social network Twitter.
It was also reported that one of the suspects arrested following the incident was linked to the terrorist organization ISIS.
During the day that has passed since the horrific attack on the Conoplan de San Honorein, a northern suburb of the capital Paris, it was revealed that parents at the school filed a complaint with Gad the teacher after apparently presenting illustrations of the Prophet Muhammad from Charlie Hebdo magazine. And the story was circulated on social media.
A parent of a girl at the school posted "Boa d'Alon College," in which the incident took place, a video on Twitter in which he condemned the teacher's act but apparently did not call for violence. The father was arrested for questioning.
