Over the weekend, two brothers died at Assuta Public Hospital in Ashdod - this was reported tonight (Saturday) by the medical center.

These are patients in their ninth decade of life, with previous background illnesses who were hospitalized in the ward during the past week.



Shimon Bouzaglo, the 85-year-old older brother, fell ill in Corona about two weeks ago and was hospitalized at Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot.

He was later released from the hospital and a day later was re-hospitalized at Assuta Hospital in Ashdod.

Yemin, the 82-year-old younger brother became infected with a caravan two weeks ago and about a week ago was hospitalized in Assuta, in a room next to his older brother.

Yemin left behind five children, and Shimon left behind a wife and ten children.

Shimon the eldest lived in Gan Yavne and his brother Yemin lived in the city of Ashdod.

"Our feelings are very bad, it's a shocking case," Asher Arbiv, the two's nephew, said tonight.

"It's hard to digest that they lost two loved ones, two brothers who were very much related to each other. They died one hour apart. It's a big loss for the family. In their lives and deaths they did not separate."

Their funeral will be held today in the cemetery in Gan Yavne.
