The French health authorities announced the registration of 29,837 new infections and 85 deaths from the new Corona virus during the past twenty-four hours.

Reuters quoted the French General Administration of Health Affairs as saying in a statement today that the total number of Corona cases in the country has so far reached 897034, and the total deaths reached 33,477 cases.

In recent weeks, France has been facing unprecedented increases in the number of recorded infections with the Coronavirus, after this indicator declined significantly in the early summer.

In Italy, the Ministry of Health recorded 11,705 new infections and 69 deaths in Corona during the past 24 hours, which brings the total number of injuries to 414,241 and the total deaths to 3,6543 cases.

According to the Italian newspaper “El Messaggero”, at least 20 members of the Italian House of Representatives were infected with the Corona virus, indicating that two other lawmakers were placed in precautionary self-isolation.

For its part, the Turkish Ministry of Health announced the registration of 1,813 new infections and 72 deaths from the Coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections to 347,493 and deaths to 9,296 cases.

In Switzerland, the government announced stricter measures to combat a second wave of the Corona virus, including the use of masks nationwide and a ban on gatherings of more than 15 people in public places, starting tomorrow.

According to the latest official Swiss statistics, the total number of corona cases in the country has so far reached 74,422, and the total deaths 1823 cases.
