Edelstein: We will consider denying a budget to institutions that were opened in violation of regulations in red cities

Health Minister Yuli Edelstein said tonight (Sunday) that he would consider revoking budgets for educational institutions opened in violation of regulations in the red cities.

This follows the opening of Talmud Torah this morning in these localities, despite the ban.

"There is no permit, no one has given any permit to open any educational institution that is not aged 0-6," Edelstein stressed.

"Those who do so are subject to heavy fines, perhaps even the denial of budgets and licenses from the institutions. The closure and the crown and the non-opening of certain educational institutions are not a punishment, but a critical action for the health of all citizens."
