The Mexican fighter known as 'Príncipe Aéreo' died this Saturday in the middle of a wrestling match held at the San Juan Pantitlán Arena, in Nezahualcóyotl, a town in the center of the country a few kilometers from the capital.
The fighter fell collapsed on the canvas after receiving two blows to the chest known as 'machetazos', and a kick from his opponent as part of the set.
He was later transferred to a hospital where his death was confirmed.
The doctors claimed that Luis Ángel Salazar, 26, had arrived at the hospital alive, but that he died minutes after his arrival at the medical center.
'Príncipe Aéreo' was part of the 'Mexa War II' evening in the third fight within the programming organized by Arena Pantitlán.
In his last message on social networks, hours before his match, the fighter had invited his followers to attend the event: “Today you cannot miss this cannon shot.
The representatives of Mexa are going to remove the breed ”.
The medical report indicates that the fighter suffered a pre-infarction during the fight, which later worsened with another attack on the way to the hospital.
His mother and partner were present at the scene.
In addition to being a professional wrestling professional, Príncipe Aéreo was finishing a career in Accounting that he paid with the money he earned from the fights he attended around the outskirts of Mexico City.
The death of Príncipe Aéreo adds to a black year for Mexican wrestling.
