The authorities plan to carry out "
about twenty
" daily checks targeting structures or people suspected of links with the Islamist movement after carrying out "
quarantine
" on Monday, October 19, said the entourage of Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin.
These controls, which fall under administrative and not judicial procedures, are "
home visits
", a device created by the law on internal security and the fight against terrorism (Silt) of Gérard Collomb, who had taken over from the state of emergency in 2017.

Of the forty visits scheduled for Monday, "
about thirty

ten
" is scheduled in the afternoon, detailed the Minister's entourage.
"
A dozen departments
" are concerned, including "
many in Ile-de-France
", we added.
"
The goal is to do about twenty a day
", continued the entourage, specifying that "
as long as there is to be done, we will do them, the idea is not to s' stop after a week
”.
"
Several dozen
" associations are in the crosshairs of state services, it was stressed, adding that the objective was not to dissolve them all.
Gérald Darmanin said he wanted to dissolve "

If one of them gave rise in the morning to "

custody
", these visits "
are not directly linked
" to the anti-terrorism investigation into the assassination of Samuel Paty, the beheaded professor on Friday in Conflans -Sainte-Honorine, it was pointed out.
"
What we want is to harass this movement, to destabilize it, with a lot of determination,
" summed up Mr. Darmanin's entourage.
