Seven people will be referred overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday to be presented Wednesday, October 21 to an anti-terrorism judge, with a view to the opening of a judicial investigation and possible indictments after the assassination Friday of Professor Samuel Paty, AFP learned from a judicial source.

Among these seven people are two minors suspected of having received money from the assailant in exchange for information on the victim, the student's parent who launched the mobilization against the professor, the Islamist activist Abdelhakim Sefrioui and three friends of the attacker suspected of having escorted or accompanied him during the purchase of a weapon. The police custody of nine other people were however lifted Tuesday evening.
