The celebration of the 18th Arab Child’s Day held by the Child Culture Directorate at the Ministry of Culture under the title “My Heritage, My Memory and My Identity”, in cooperation with the governorates' cultural directorates, included cultural and artistic activities whose essence is preserving heritage and consecrating its value in the minds of children.

As part of the celebration, the Cultural Center in Al-Hasakah hosted a photographic exhibition in which a group of young people participated with images of the governorate's material heritage, ancestral lifestyle, agricultural household tools and traditional dress, in addition to views from the island's countryside. A workshop was also held to train children on the principles of drawing with pencils and coloring.

A number of children and adolescents participated in the Ornasha Heritage Troupes and the Culture Directorate with national and heritage singing connections and songs about childhood and the importance of providing care and support for the young. The child also honored Bashar Al-Sayed Ali for winning the second place in the competition held by the Ministry of Culture in the field of children's story and Jane Muhammad Al-Jrou for winning the Encouragement Award in the field of painting .

In Tartous, the Life Skills team in the governorate presented a heritage song and a folk arts segment on the theater of the Arab Cultural Center in the governorate, each of which expresses the Syrian heritage and simulates some of the original customs and traditions that are still present in the memory of many and remain in the minds of children and young people as part of the heritage And the history that characterized the various governorates, where the lyric paragraph entitled “The Dalaouna” was inspired by the Syrian lyric heritage, which was celebrated in many ways of singing the daluna from the words and melodies of the poet Shams al-Din Saeed.

The "Il Yama" folklore group performed a traditional dancing segment entitled "Panorama of Lala", which included songs that begin with the word "Lala" and are sung by the Syrian countryside in many forms.

In Lattakia, children from the Martyr Alaa Nafez Salman School participated in qualifying their classrooms and classrooms and decorating them with Ajami decoration in an event organized by the Life Skills team within the Culture Directorate.

The life skills team chose to approach children in their places of residence with the aim of working with them through traditional arts, introducing them to these arts and directing their attention towards it to rehabilitate school classes in a way inspired by heritage, and to involve them in the completion of the work, which creates motivation for them to preserve the classes and develop their artistic sense and form a space for children to express They show their creativity and participation in front of their colleagues, and help them develop their talents in the future.

The event included a workshop of popular games for children presented by heritage researcher Haider Naissa, in the context of introducing them to some of the games inherited from the ancestors, some of which have evolved to become part of the Olympic Games.
