Update from October 21, 10 a.m .:

The Corona traffic light in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen jumps to yellow.

The seven-day incidence that the Robert Koch Institute published this morning is now 38.3 for the district - and thus above the limit value for the first corona warning level (35).

According to the RKI, 13 new confirmed infections with the coronavirus have been added since Tuesday.

The number of people who have been proven to have been infected since the beginning is 725 (as of Wednesday, midnight).

Stricter rules are likely to come into force in the district on Thursday, such as an extended mask requirement and a curfew at 11 p.m.

Update from October 20, 5 p.m .:

An employee at the “Kinderhaus Zwergenland” in Geretsried also tested positive for the coronavirus.

Therefore, according to the district office, a total of 19 children from three groups must be in quarantine by October 29th.

The health department is currently researching whether there are further contacts, especially among employees, and how these should be categorized if necessary.

No visits to the Wolfratshausen District Clinic

There are additional restrictions due to the increased number of cases at the district clinic in Wolfratshausen.

As managing director Ingo Kühn reports, there will again be an absolute ban on visitors from Friday, October 23rd.

This measure serves to protect both patients and employees, said Kühn.

In exceptional cases - for example with patients who are dying - a visit is possible "after individual consultation with the attending physician".

In the Asklepios City Clinic in Bad Tölz, the rule of thumb “one visitor per patient and day” has been in effect since last Saturday.

The infected person had “close contact” with 14 young people in their free time

As far as the person infected with the coronavirus at the Geretsried grammar school is concerned, the health department has now determined that they also had "close contact" with another 14 young people in their free time.

These are now also in quarantine.
