Gerald Darmanin will be interviewed by his counterpart Vladimir Kolokoltsev to talk about "
cooperation against terrorism, irregular immigration and organized crime
", detailed a second source of his entourage.
He is also due to meet with French business leaders established in Russia "
to talk about the economic situation and bilateral relations with Russia,
" they add.
On Tuesday, Emmanuel Macron spoke by phone with President Vladimir Poutin to ask him for "
a strengthening of Franco-Russian cooperation in the fight against terrorism and illegal immigration
".

This visit is one of the stages of the tour of Gérald Darmanin, after Morocco last week, in the countries which have the most nationals among the 231 foreigners in an irregular situation followed for radicalization and that Paris wishes to expel.
His entourage refused to give the number of Russian nationals that France wishes to deport.
