French Prime Minister Jean Castex announced today that the scope of the night curfew in large French cities will expand, starting from next Saturday, to be subject to about 64 million people, which means two out of three French, with the aim of confronting the second epidemic wave of Covid 19.
AFP reported that Castex warned in the context of announcing the expansion of the curfew, which extends from nine in the evening to six in the morning, that the coming weeks will be harsh.
Yesterday, the French health authorities announced the registration of 26,676 new cases of Corona, which is the sixth time in 12 days that the daily number remains above the 25,000 threshold.
