Tehran-SANA

Iran affirmed that it has no interest in interfering in the US presidential elections, nor is it any preference for the results of these elections and who will win them.

In response to the claim of John Ratcliffe, Director of National Intelligence in the administration of US President Donald Trump, who accused Iran and Russia of trying to interfere in the American elections, the spokesman for the Iranian mission to the United Nations, Alireza Miriusvi, said in a tweet on Twitter today: “Iran, unlike the United States, does not interfere in the elections. Other countries ”.

He stressed that these allegations are nothing but a scenario to undermine the voters' confidence in the security of the American elections, noting that the world is witnessing desperate public efforts by the United States to question the outcome of its elections at the highest level.
