The authorities of the Turkish regime today arrested four officials of the opposition Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), as part of the President of this regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to crack down on anyone who opposes his policies.
Agence France-Presse quoted Turkish security sources as saying that the four arrested during raids of the Turkish regime's police are the party chief in Diyarbakir Hülya Al-Wakman Uyannik, Ziad Gilan and their counterparts in the city of Yenisehir Ramziye and Qasim Kaya.
It is noteworthy that in 2017 the Turkish regime dismissed the mayors of all states and cities run by representatives of the HDP, who numbered more than 70 mayors. During the last period, the security authorities arrested more than five thousand members and supporters of democratic peoples on charges of "terrorism."
