The United States of America announced today that it recorded the highest number of deaths from the Corona virus in two months, confirming that the pandemic is increasing in frequency across the country.
Reuters quoted the US health authorities as saying that 1,237 new deaths were recorded from the virus, the highest since the nineteenth of August.
The average number of Covid 19 deaths was about 700 people per day throughout the month of October.
For his part, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers called on residents to stay home after announcing his state, in addition to five other states recording daily increases in Covid-19 deaths.
Since the pandemic reached the United States earlier this year, more than 222,000 people have died from the virus, which is the highest death toll in the world and one of the highest death rates for the population, especially among developed countries.
