The Donald Trump Administration has broken the agreement reached with the CBS program
60 Minutes
on Thursday
, headed by journalist Lesley Stahl, and has published the full and unedited interview on Facebook before the broadcast scheduled for Sunday.
The president has justified the unprecedented action so that "everyone can see how false and manipulated the interview was."
At the meeting recorded on Tuesday at the White House, the interviewer pressed Trump on issues such as the increase in coronavirus cases in most states, the decline in suburban women support for his candidacy and the vague health plan with which he wants to replace the health law of his predecessor, Barack Obama, popularly known as Obamacare.
"Look at the prejudice, hatred and rudeness in the name of 60 Minutes and CBS," Trump wrote in the tweet linking the link to the interview uploaded to Facebook.
The US president and Stahl were scheduled to talk alone for a first block on Tuesday, and then Vice President Mike Pence would join them.
However, 37 minutes after the program started, the Republican president abruptly ended the interview.
As can be seen in the video, Trump was irritated by the way the veteran and reputable journalist was conducting the conversation.
“The first thing you said to me was, are you ready for tough questions?
That is not the way to speak, it is not the way to speak, ”the Republican snapped.
CBS released a statement after the video was released arguing that the White House's unprecedented decision to ignore the agreement "will not deter 60 Minutes from providing its full, fair and contextualized reporting that presidents have participated in for decades." .
At one point in the interview, after Trump launched a battery of unfounded accusations against Biden and former President Obama, Stahl clarified: "This is 60 Minutes and we cannot put things that we cannot verify."
During the conversation, Trump charged intensely against his Democratic rival and his son Hunter Biden for unconfirmed information published by the
New York Post
, a medium that accessed emails and other digital materials allegedly coming from a computer owned by the son of the candidate for whom it was accessed through former New York Mayor and Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani.
The president also disqualified the media and accused them of protecting Obama's former number two.

CBS confirmed that next Sunday it will broadcast the special 60 Minutes program, where in addition to publishing the interview with Trump and another one with Mike Pence, separately, there will also be Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris.
