Ireland took the lead of the Six Nations Tournament on Saturday by crushing Italy with the bonus (50-17), and they will have their destiny in hand for the final victory, next Saturday in Paris, in their match at three with France and England.
This enhanced victory allows the XV in the club to increase the number of points in the standings to 14, ahead of its two rivals to 13 units.
But to win the 2020 Tournament, the Irish will need to go and win in Paris and if possible with the bonus so as not to depend on the result of the English in Rome.
