At 9pm last night (24), a 14-year-old boy fell from a height in a unit of Block 7, Qinghua Court, Phase 5, Whampoa Garden, No. 7, Tak Fung Street, Whampoa. The security guard found the police.
The boy was severely wounded and unconscious, with blood flowing over his face. A paramedic was present to give him emergency treatment with extracardiac pressure. He was then sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for emergency treatment, but he was certified dead after being sent to the hospital.
Two relatives and friends of the deceased accompanied to the hospital to understand their grief.
The police investigated the cause of the incident at the scene.
According to on-site sources, the family involved had three children. The boy who fell from the building ranked second at home and lived with his 41-year-old father, mother, brother, and sister. Before the incident, he was suspected of having problems with his family due to education and playing game consoles. The dispute was reprimanded, and he did not soon fall off the building; his family was also in the unit at that time.
The police blocked the scene for investigation.
