A shipment of medical aid provided by the World Health Organization to Syria arrived at Damascus International Airport today, which includes personal protection for health workers, medicines and medical supplies, with the aim of strengthening the response of health institutions to address the Covid 19 pandemic at the national level.

Khleifawi pointed out that the 8.8 tons of aid provided to support the health sector in Syria includes medicines for the Coronavirus, individual means of protection for the medical staff, and some reagents for tests.
