More than 84,000 people have been infected with the corona virus in the past day in the United States - a daily high of diagnoses, with the re-emergence of the plague across the country.
The previous record was set for July 16, with 77,299 cases, and this new one was set while researchers in Washington predict that the death toll from the virus in the United States will reach half a million in February.
The plague led to a record-breaking number of voters in the early elections, and President Donald Trump also went to the polls today (Saturday).
On Friday, two-day contagion records were broken in 16 different states in the United States, including five considered crucial in the White House race: Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Health experts did not point to a specific reason for the jump, but noted factors such as a drop in temperatures leading to crowds in enclosed spaces, fatigue from adherence to distance measures and the return of students to schools and colleges.
"We are on the verge of a significant increase in the fall and winter," said Chris Murray, a senior director at the University of Washington and one of the study's authors, who said the death toll by February could be 95 percent lower than 130,000 and reach 130,000 if covered.

Similar recommendations came from Dr. Anthony Fauchi, the leading epidemic expert in the United States, who has often confronted Trump about the issue.
"The good news on the horizon is that vaccines look very promising," Fuchsie said in an interview with CNN. or early December seem to have at least one vaccine or two - and maybe more, but at least two - is safe and effective. "
health Minister Alex Azar said that the current outbreak is related to the behavior of the public, and he said gatherings in homes have become the focus of expansion significantly.
asked about the claim of Trump during The latest confrontation with his Democratic rival Joe Biden over the United States on the way to defeating the plague, Ezer replied to CNN that Trump was trying to provide hope to Americans awaiting vaccination.

The death toll is also rising, with 916 deaths across the United States on Thursday, a day after 1,200 people died from the virus - a figure not seen since August.
On Friday, 18 countries reported the highest number of corona patients hospitalized since the onset of the epidemic, and the overall number in the United States reached a two-month high - 41,000 hospitalized patients, up 34 percent since Oct. 1, according to Reuters.
By population size, the state with the most severe situation is North Dakota, with 887 new cases on Friday and Thursday.

Trump: "I voted for a guy named Trump"
Today, Trump joined more than 54 million Americans who have already voted, and he did so at a library in West Palm Beach, near the Mar-a-Lago mansion, to which he moved as a permanent resident of New York last year.
The Republican president must win Florida to maintain a chance to stay in the White House for another four years.
"I voted for a guy named Trump," he told reporters after the vote.
The president went to election rallies in three other important states, the first of which is North Carolina.
Biden, accompanied by his wife Jill, are also returning to the area today, and he will hold two events in the key state of Pennsylvania.
Former President Barack Obama will hold a rally in Florida, in his second appearance at an event for his former deputy after the one he held in Pennsylvania on Wednesday.
According to the United States Election Project, an organization that monitors the turnout, some 54.2 million Americans have already voted with ten days left until Election Day.
If this rate continues, the final turnout is expected to be the highest in more than a century.
The influx of people to the polls is a sign of great interest in this year's race, along with the desire to avoid crowded queues on November 3 and reduce the risk of contracting the corona virus.
Many countries have expanded voting at the polls and by mail as a precautionary measure during the epidemic.
Trump, who often argues unsubstantiated that postal voting was an opening for election fraud, even when experts say it is as safe as any other method, has voted for himself through the mail since he moved - in the Republican primary in March and the Florida general election in August.
