An expedition of 100 firefighters from the National Forest Commission of Mexico arrived in the United States to assist their colleagues in California in the fight against the fire.
The situation is of such magnitude that the fires have left dozens of deaths, thousands of structures destroyed and more than one and a half million hectares burned so far this year, according to official reports.
