This Saturday, five murders were confirmed in a period of 16 hours in the Rosario department.
Although one case corresponds to the attack on a grocer shot two nights ago, the rest account for a violent day in different sectors, including the neighboring city of Villa Gobernador Gálvez.
In turn, the
total of crimes this year has already exceeded that of 2019
.
One of the victims confirmed by the Public Prosecutor's Office (MPA) was Norberto Fabián González, who died after 9:30 in the morning after being hospitalized together with another boy.
Both
had serious stab wounds
and the latter remained with a reserved prognosis in the Clemente Álvarez Emergency Hospital (Heca) after an alleged brawl in the vicinity of the Toba neighborhood.
The first data from official sources indicate that
at least 10 people participated in the street fight
that broke out minutes after 8 o'clock near the intersection of Maradona and Qom, in the southwest of Rosario.
Three of them were delayed by the Police and the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) took over the measures requested by the prosecutor
Patricio Saldutti
to resolve the procedural situation of the suspects.
At that time, a 23-year-old young man who had also been transferred to Heca died from the
bullets he received in the chest and left clavicle
.
Bruno Hernán Poultroni had been shot at around 7:20 in Ituzaingó at 7200. The murder occurred in the extreme west of the city and the initial hypothesis accounts for another dispute on the public highway that involved at least six people.
In this case, the aggressors fled aboard a vehicle and the victim was treated at the San Martín Polyclinic, from where he was later referred due to the severity of the injuries.
According to MPA statistics, 171 crimes have been registered in the Rosario department so far this year, so that
the homicide rate has already increased
compared to the 168 total cases in 2019.
In addition to the rise, in 2020 there is an
upsurge in violence in Villa Gobernador Gálvez
, the main town neighboring the Cradle of the Flag.
There so far there have been 18 fatalities, just over 10% of the total in the jurisdiction of the Regional Unit II of the Santa Fe Police.
One of the crimes this Saturday occurred at dawn in the latter city.
According to the preliminary version, Adrián Maximiliano Rojo was treated at the Anselmo Gamen Hospital for a stab wound in the abdomen.
The Police reported that
the 25-year-old boy's family took charge of taking him
to the hospital at one-thirty, after a brawl in Esperanza at 900. The doctors ordered his transfer to the Provincial Hospital of Rosario, but he finally died after 3 in the morning.
Regarding the evidence gathered around this fact, the AIC confirmed that they kidnapped pods served where the fatal fight occurred.
Previously a report to 911 had revealed that
there were people shooting the air
.
After noon, the Justice began to investigate the
murder of a 47-year-old man in his home
in the western part of Rosario.
The authorities received notice of the episode at 1:30 p.m. and confirmed that Marcelo Ligiazis had been shot in the skull in Cullen at 3400. The Prosecutor's Office requested a series of measures to identify a group of people who had been meeting with the victim shortly before the finding the corpse.
The series of deaths reported this weekend began on Friday night with the death of Matías Adrián Fernández, who had been hospitalized for 24 hours after being
shot while attending his business
.
From the MPA they detailed that two subjects arrived at the local of Bertolé at 7200 and escaped by motorcycle after opening fire.
Investigators do not rule out that it was an attempted robbery.
Regardless of the possible motive, the truth is that the 31-year-old businessman fell due to the impact of a projectile in his right armpit and did not recover.
