Next Wednesday (28th), the Labour Department will hold a large-scale job fair at the Southorn Indoor Stadium in Wan Chai for a total of 2,500 job vacancies in industries such as catering, property management and retail.

Job-seekers can submit applications on the spot and have the opportunity to have an on-site interview. They can also inquire about the employment services provided by the Labour Department at the conference counter.

The job fair will be held from 11 am to 5:30 pm on the first floor of Southorn Indoor Stadium, 111 Johnston Road, Wan Chai (near MTR Wan Chai Station Exit A3), free of charge.

The Labour Department will hold a large-scale job fair at Southorn Indoor Stadium in Wan Chai from next Wednesday (28th) to next Thursday (29th), offering 2,500 job vacancies, including catering, property management and retail industries.

A total of 46 organizations participated in the two-day job fair, providing a total of more than 2,500 job vacancies.

Every day, 23 organizations set up counters at the venue to conduct on-the-spot recruitment. The job categories provided include shop assistants, clerks, customer service ambassadors, aviation security supervisors, motorcycle couriers, hair stylists, maintenance mechanics, and car trainees. Beauty technicians, receptionists, security guards, drivers, warehouse workers, waiters, chefs, cashiers and packers, etc.

The monthly salary for most vacancies ranges from 11,000 to 19,000

About 83% of the job fairs were full-time vacancies, and most of them had monthly salaries ranging from 11,000 yuan to 19,000 yuan.

Approximately 98% of the job vacancies require Form 6 or below, and about 62% of the job vacancies do not require relevant work experience.
