«Rest assured that you have this server to fight from any space.

We will not rest and we will continue working day and night to achieve the freedom that all Venezuelans deserve, "he wrote on the social network.

In another message, he stated that "in the coming days we will expand in detail the actions that we propose to carry out in favor of the freedom of our people."

On Sunday morning, the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported in a statement that the Venezuelan opposition leader arrived in Madrid to meet with his family.

The official text states that their arrival occurs after having stayed as a guest at the residence of the Spanish embassy in Caracas since April 30, 2019 and that the decision to leave is personal and voluntary.

In the same letter, "Spain condemns the arrests of labor personnel from its embassy as well as the searches produced in the homes of personnel attached to it, acts that imply a breach of the obligations contained in the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

For his part, Leopoldo López's father spoke on Twitter and said that he is "very happy" to be reunited with his son and "enjoy his freedom", while thanking Spain for its "consistent support for democratic principles."

Very happy to meet my son in Madrid and enjoy his freedom in the company of the family.

Thanks to Spain for its consistent support for democratic principles.
