Amid a spike in COVID-19 cases in the United States, White House Secretary General Mark Meadows declared that the country will not control the pandemic.
The official told CNN that what can be controlled is receiving vaccines, therapies and working in other mitigation areas.
His comments come on the same day that at least five advisers to Vice President Mike Pence tested positive for coronavirus, CNN confirmed.
