MDA paramedic Yehuda Marcus said that "when we arrived at the scene, the worker was lying next to the truck unconscious and a civilian was performing basic resuscitation operations on him.

We were told that during his work with the arm crane hit a high voltage line and he was electrocuted.

"We performed advanced resuscitation operations on him, which included massages, resuscitation, giving electric shocks from the pacemaker (defibrillator) and administering medication. We put him in the intensive care unit and evacuated him to the hospital while continuing to perform resuscitation operations when his condition was critical."
