The person who caused an accident in Grub early on Monday evening wanted to flee undetected, but was unlucky: in the collision, the front license plate of his car was broken.
So it was easy for the police to find the owner of the car.
He was under the influence of alcohol when a patrol crew met him in his apartment shortly after the accident alert.
The Poing police station informs that whether he was also the driver has yet to be determined.

That happened: At around 6.30 p.m., the person who was causing the problem, who was heading east on Senator-Gerauer-Strasse in Grub, overlooked an oncoming car with right of way at the traffic lights when turning left (towards Kirchheim / Landsham).
At the wheel was a 31-year-old from Munich.
After the collision occurred, the perpetrator fled.
The gray VW of the injured party, who remained uninjured, was no longer ready to drive, according to the police.
The property damage incurred in the accident is estimated at around 50,000 euros.
