Gender violence in Mexico increases during the pandemic | Video | CNN

The recent security report issued by the Mexican authorities indicates that from January to September there was an increase in crimes related to violence against women, compared to the same period of 2019. Some crimes that increased were femicides, with 704 cases, and intentional homicides, with 2,150 cases.

There was also an increase in calls to emergency services related to violence against women, with 199,974 registrations.
