Among the activities to remember Néstor Kirchner ten years after his death, Kirchnerism leads a
caravan of vehicles
in different parts of the country
this Tuesday afternoon
, with its epicenter in the Plaza de Mayo.
At around 6 pm, President Alberto Fernández
leaned out of one of the windows of the Casa Rosada and greeted the militants.
"May a thousand flowers bloom," says the call, repeating one of the phrases most used by the late former president. As they explained, the idea is to leave flowers on the gate of the Casa Rosada.
In the framework of the coronavirus quarantine, the organizers called to repeat the scheme of the mobilization of October 17, in which the protesters did so from their cars.
"On October 27 we mobilized again,
leaving a flower in each place that makes reference to Nestor:
street, bridge, hospital, school, bust or whatever reminds us of El Flaco," the Justicialist Party said in a statement.
And he affirmed that the idea is also to remember "a year that the Argentine people, in democracy, once again consecrated a national and popular government with Alberto President and Cristina Vice."
In addition to the PJ, La Cámpora, the CTA and the Evita Movement, among other Kirchnerist groups, are also mobilizing.
The tributes to Kirchner began on Monday night, with projections on facades and emblematic buildings from all over the country.
The main act of the day took place around noon at the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK), where President Alberto Fernández inaugurated the statue of the former president that, years ago, had been removed from the UNASUR headquarters in Ecuador.
"It's not easy, because in my life there was a before and after Nestor," said an excited Fernández, who was not accompanied by his vice president, Cristina Kirchner.
