In 2016 Donald Trump won in Florida by a narrow margin. This year too, the choice could be made here. Nevertheless, the US president has drastically cut his campaign money for Florida.

US President Donald Trump has apparently withdrawn almost all of his campaign funds from the state of Florida.

This is reported by the US news portal Bloomberg with reference to the Advertising Analytics analysis platform.

According to this, Trump still has a budget of $ 350,275 for advertising expenditure on election day in Florida.

For the past two weeks, however, he has cut the budget by a total of $ 5.5 million.

Florida is actually one of the most important swing states.

With 29 electors, it is one of the most influential states ever.

In 2016, Trump won here by 1.2 percentage points.

According to Bloomberg, Trump will now focus on four states in the north of the country: Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

They were seen as guarantors of Trump's election victory in 2016. However, the US president is currently behind in all four states.

In Florida, too, the Democratic challenger Joe Biden leads the polls - if only barely.

Florida allows postal voting

Florida is one of the states that allow its citizens to vote unrestrictedly by postal vote before the official election date on November 3rd.

Trump, whose official residence is in the state, has also already cast his vote here.

"I voted for a guy named Trump," said the US president on Saturday.
